Sua chegada em 2004 gerou in\u00fameras, longas e acaloradas discuss\u00f5es, pois foi a primeira vez que um campeonato mundial de motociclismo teve um \u00fanico fornecedor de pneus, abordagem amplamente utilizada atualmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na MotoGP, a Michelin deixa o campeonato ap\u00f3s dez anos (entraram em 2016) e a chegada da Pirelli visa embaralhar as cartas junto com o novo regulamento que estreia em 2027.
