Elas s\u00e3o cal\u00e7adas com pneus Dunlop sem c\u00e2mara (110\/80R19 na dianteira; 150\/70R17 na traseira), com uma estrutura interna projetada exclusivamente para a motocicleta.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8336138695442191\"\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8336138695442191\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"3523231789\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script><br \/>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});<br \/>\n<\/script><\/p>\n\n\n<p>Fora isso, trata-se da mesma V-Strom 800, com o novo motor de dois cilindros em linha (n\u00e3o o V-Twin de 650cc anterior) de 776 cm\u00b3 que gera 83 cv a 8.500 rpm e 7,95 kgf.m de torque.\u00a0\u00c9 o mesmo propulsor que vem na GSX-8S e GSX-8R, mais leve, suave e moderno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As suspens\u00f5es Showa Big Piston Fork t\u00eam menos curso (150 mm) e um passeio um pouco mais firme. Os discos de freio dianteiros s\u00e3o de 310 mm, um pouco maiores, e redondos convencionais, e n\u00e3o os de p\u00e9talas como na vers\u00e3o DE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outras pequenas, mas significativas altera\u00e7\u00f5es foram feitas na ergonomia: o guid\u00e3o \u00e9 mais baixo, colocado mais \u00e0 frente e mais estreito, enquanto os pedais s\u00e3o um pouco mais altos e recuados, o que permite angulos de inclina\u00e7\u00e3o mais acentuados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como n\u00e3o pretende saltar, nem passar por cima de obst\u00e1culos, a altura do assento \u00e9 de 825 mm, 30 mm mais baixa do que a V-Strom 800 DE. Por outro lado, o para-brisa \u00e9 maior, para proteger os ocupantes do vento intenso e ajust\u00e1vel manualmente em tr\u00eas n\u00edveis de 15 mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O painel digital TFT de cinco polegadas \u00e9 o mesmo das outras vers\u00f5es, assim como a parte eletr\u00f4nica. O controle de tra\u00e7\u00e3o tem tr\u00eas n\u00edveis e a op\u00e7\u00e3o de deslig\u00e1-lo completamente. O ABS n\u00e3o \u00e9 em curvas, mas tem dois ajustes, alto e baixo.
