O piloto da Honda se valeu da regularidade para conquistar o seu primeiro t\u00edtulo e tamb\u00e9m o primeiro de um sul-americano entre as motocicletas no maior rali do mundo.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.noticiasmotociclisticas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Kevin-Benavides-Rali-Dakar-2021-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-53721\" src=\"https:\/\/www.noticiasmotociclisticas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Kevin-Benavides-Rali-Dakar-2021-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"413\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Benavides venceu apenas dois est\u00e1gios, o quinto, entre Riade e Buraidah e o nono ao redor de Neom, por\u00e9m, ao contr\u00e1rio de seus advers\u00e1rios, manteve-se sempre entre os seis primeiros, qualidade imprescind\u00edvel para vencer o Dakar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Toby Price (KTM), por exemplo, mostrou que tinha velocidade para conquistar o seu terceiro Dakar. Mas o australiano teve problemas mec\u00e2nicos, se perdeu no percurso e teve a sua participa\u00e7\u00e3o encerrada prematuramente devido a um acidente no est\u00e1gio 9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A lideran\u00e7a ficou com Jose Ignacio Cornejo (Honda), que parecia ter plenas condi\u00e7\u00f5es de vencer o Dakar. Mas o chileno tamb\u00e9m sofreu um acidente a apenas duas etapas do final e abandonou. Seu \u00fanico abandono foi no ano passado, enquanto que n\u00e3o participou em 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<em>Foi uma loucura. Larguei em terceiro e depois de 50 quil\u00f4metros estava na frente abrindo o caminho. Eu sinto que tudo foi complicado, porque Ricky come\u00e7ou a me alcan\u00e7ar. Comecei a for\u00e7ar muito, o dia todo, e fiquei focado, ent\u00e3o fiz um bom trabalho hoje. Al\u00e9m disso, cheguei a 110%, mas agora \u00e9 verdade: ganhei o Dakar &#8211; estou muito, muito feliz! Eu cometi alguns erros, com certeza. Acho que \u00e9 imposs\u00edvel fazer um Dakar perfeito. O importante \u00e9 continuar sempre, manter a calma e o foco no dia a dia e trabalhar duro no dia a dia<\/em>&#8220;, comentou Benavides.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0&#8220;<em>No est\u00e1gio 5 eu estava preocupado, porque cai muito forte e bati com a cabe\u00e7a e o tornozelo e senti muitas dores. Naquele dia disse que talvez o Dakar tinha acabado para mim. Mas eu continuei. Ainda sinto um pouco de dor, mas no momento estou mais feliz do que com dor<\/em>&#8220;, continuou. &#8220;<em>Estou muito orgulhoso de ser o primeiro vencedor sul-americano. Meu sonho tamb\u00e9m era fazer hist\u00f3ria e agora sou o primeiro sul-americano a vencer o Dakar. Isso \u00e9 incr\u00edvel para mim. Com certeza, fizemos um trabalho muito bom em todo o Dakar como companheiros de equipe.
