O nome \u00e9 uma tradu\u00e7\u00e3o em ingl\u00eas da flor alpina edelvais.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A Alpinestars come\u00e7ou a se destacar no motocross no in\u00edcio dos anos 1970, conquistando o primeiro t\u00edtulo mundial com o lend\u00e1rio Roger de Coster. No final da d\u00e9cada, eles chegaram \u00e0s 500cc vencendo o t\u00edtulo de 1978 com Kenny Roberts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A empresa continuou crescendo nas d\u00e9cadas seguintes, n\u00e3o apenas no motociclismo, mas tamb\u00e9m no automobilismo internacional. Hoje a marca tem uma presen\u00e7a forte na F\u00f3rmula 1. Isso al\u00e9m de oferecer uma s\u00e9rie de produtos casuais.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mazzarolo nos deixa aos 91 anos, ap\u00f3s uma longa enfermidade.
