(Foto: Gold &amp; Goose)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O campeonato foi criado pela Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional de Motociclismo (FIM) em 1988, a fim de colocar em disputa as melhores superbikes de produ\u00e7\u00e3o do mundo. Vale lembrar que as m\u00e1quinas de MotoGP s\u00e3o prot\u00f3tipos que n\u00e3o est\u00e3o \u00e0 venda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A corrida inaugural aconteceu em 3 de abril de 1988 em Donington Park contendo nomes conhecidos at\u00e9 hoje: Davide Tardozzi (vencedor da primeira bateria), Marco Lucchinelli (vencedor da segunda bateria), Bubba Shobert (tr\u00eas vezes campe\u00e3o do AMA Superbike), Joey Dunlop e muitos outros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde ent\u00e3o, o Mundial de Superbike continuou sua hist\u00f3ria com altos e baixos, mas sempre de maneira ininterrupta. O vencedor da cent\u00e9sima corrida, em Monza 1996 foi Pierfrancesco Chili, ap\u00f3s uma dram\u00e1tica volta final. O GP de n\u00famero 250 foi vencido por Carlos Checa em Utah 2008, esse que tamb\u00e9m foi o seu primeiro triunfo na categoria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A 400\u00ba etapa do Mundial de Superbike tem tudo para tamb\u00e9m ser emocionante, afinal a disputa pelo t\u00edtulo ainda est\u00e1 em andamento. Em sua 135\u00ba corrida, Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki) tentar\u00e1 vencer novamente para cimentar de vez o seu pentacampeonato.
