De acordo com os notici\u00e1rios belgas, o ex-piloto teria se afogado ap\u00f3s entrar em um rio para salvar seu cachorro.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.noticiasmotociclisticas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Eric-Geboers.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-32049 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.noticiasmotociclisticas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Eric-Geboers.jpg\" alt=\"eric-geboers\" width=\"620\" height=\"413\" \/><\/a>O acidente aconteceu na cidade belga de Mol, pr\u00f3xima \u00e0 Antu\u00e9rpia. Depois de v\u00e1rias horas de busca e salvamento, sob baixas temperaturas da \u00e1gua e da corrente forte, as autoridades declararam seu afogamento apesar de ainda n\u00e3o terem encontrado o corpo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.noticiasmotociclisticas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Eric-Geboers-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-32048\" src=\"https:\/\/www.noticiasmotociclisticas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Eric-Geboers-2-300x195.jpg\" alt=\"eric-geboers-2\" width=\"300\" height=\"195\" \/><\/a>Geboers come\u00e7ou sua carreira no final dos anos 70, estreando no Campeonato Mundial em 1980, com apenas 18 anos, nas 125cc. Logo depois, j\u00e1 conquistava seus primeiros t\u00edtulos em 1982 e 1983.
