O diretor \u00e9 o tamb\u00e9m australiano Jeremy Sims, respons\u00e1vel por Pelot\u00e3o de Elite (2010).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>&#8220;\u00c9 uma hist\u00f3ria de velocidade, perigo, amor, adversidade, vontade tenaz e, finalmente de triunfo&#8221;, <\/em>explicou Sims. O produtor Fraser Brown vai al\u00e9m: &#8220;<em>O filme \u00e9 sobre o car\u00e1ter de Wayne Gardner e como ele deixou de ser um menino de Wollongong e se tornou um her\u00f3i australiano<\/em>&#8220;, explicou.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O financiamento est\u00e1 garantido com o patroc\u00ednio da Screen Australia Film e da Comiss\u00e3o de Cinema da Nova Zel\u00e2ndia.
